Pet Deposits/Costs
In addition to the standard security deposit equal to one month’s rent, Tenant shall pay an additional refundable deposit of $800.00 for the privilege of having pets on the premises. Tenant also agrees to a non-refundable pet fee of $500.00. This fee does not limit the Resident’s responsibility for any damages caused by the pet.
A monthly pet fee will apply per pet. The amount may vary based on the type, size, or breed of the animal and will be determined at the Owner’s discretion. Certain breeds of animals, particularly those considered dangerous or restricted in Georgia, may not be permitted. All pets must be reviewed and approved in writing by the Owner.
Example:
If the monthly rent is $X, the total due at move-in for a tenant with a pet would be:
Total Due at Move-In (excluding first month’s rent):$X + $800 + $500
